School Board

The Ardross Primary School Board is comprised of parent and staff representatives who work in partnership with the Principal to help shape and review the school’s strategic direction and priorities. The Board also acts as ambassadors for the school, bringing ideas, expertise, and a strong community voice to support the Principal and strengthen our capacity to meet the needs of all students.

Role of the School Board:

The role of the School Board is defined by the Education Department and includes:

  • Developing and reviewing the school’s Business Plan
  • Monitoring school performance
  • Reviewing and approving aspects of the school budget and charges
  • Establishing and reviewing the school’s objectives, priorities and general policy directions

The Board does not play a role in the day‑to‑day operations or management of the school. Its focus is on governance, future direction, and representing the interests and perspectives of the school community.
