Nathan Hoyle is the chaplain at Ardross Primary School and is on-site Tuesday and Thursday during school hours. He interacts with students through group work, pastoral conversations and lots of handball. Nathan operates from a child-centred position, believing that children have the ability to work towards solutions using their own resources and the people around them. His role is to guide this process and help the children identify and learn the skills they need to thrive and succeed in life.
Nathan has a background in youth services, in particular working alongside children in foster care and atrisk of educational or social disengagement. He began his chaplaincy work with YouthCARE in 2014 and loves the organic and caring nature of primary school chaplaincy.
